Silver Twig Ring, with Gold Cup and Freshwater Pearl
A sterling silver ring – the shank has been made out of a twig picked up from a local field and cast with molten silver to capture the detail.
The shank has been topped with a large organic shaped cup, the inside of which has been fused with lustrous 24ct gold and finished with a 8mm freshwater pearl to create a striking statement ring.
The pure gold is applied to the surface of the silver using an ancient Korean process called Keum Boo. This process fuses the gold to the silver creating a permanent bond.
The shank and the underside of the cup has been oxidised to create a black finish and treating to maintain the colour.

This ring is one of a kind and size Q.5 (UK) / 8.5 (US).
This is a unique ready to wear piece but a similar ring can be made should you require a different size. There will be small differences but that makes each unique in their own way.
