Statement Leaf Necklace with Prasiolite and handmade clasp
Sterling Silver Elder Leaf beautifully hung on round faceted Prasiolite beads and finished with a handmade clasp.
This silver leaf has been handmade using an actual Elder leaf picked up in the field opposite my workshop. The process used has effectively captured the natural vein structure of the leaf.
Paired here with Prasiolite - also known as green amethyst - it makes the perfect necklace.
The clasp has been handmade with sterling silver wire, formed into an attractive finish and adorned with Prasiolite. The clasp is set to the side of the necklace making it visible from the front.
The silver leaf has been oxidised and polished to highlight the gorgeous natural leaf detail.
The Elder Leaf was revered by ancient Celtic people as coming from The Goddess Tree and being associated with the faery realm. Recognised for it's healing properties, folk would hang the leaves over doorways to promote health and happiness for the family.
Prasiolite is believed to have transformative energies, promoting creativity & success and aiding balance within the body.
The perfect finish to that special outfit.
